I know it was ages ago but all this time I've wanted to share some more reviews and anecdotes from the tour. I'll just start with the first nights now.
I was SO nervous when I got to the Auditorium because it had been so long since I'd last seen him on stage. I know there's fans out there who have had to wait much longer and I'm still spoilt, but my stomach was in knots. But as soon as I entered the foyer, I bumped into Keith Duffy (the talented one), and immediately everything felt more familiar again. We had a lovely little conversation, I told him how nervous I was because I hadn't been to any gigs in years and he grinned and said "It's like falling off a horse!"

The first gig was out of this world and I got so emotional. I couldn't actually get up until the encore because my knees were weak  The set list was perfect (even more so whilst it still contained
Beds Are Burning and he was a fool to change it), I loved seeing him play the guitar to three songs, and needless to say he sounded as amazing as ever. He regained so much confidence during this tour and you could see so much gratitude and pride on his face. One very sweet moment was when he thanked us for allowing him to "be a singer" and "live the dream", which he went on and on about <3
The stage looked amazing, the string section was great and I was really happy to hear some of the older songs again, like
If you love me.
I'd never been to any gigs in Scotland before but I've got to agree the audiences up there are great. Out of the whole tour (I missed a few shows in the middle though), I enjoyed Scotland and Germany the most.
My Glasgow photos are online in the
RKN Gallery. I will put more photos online, and if you have any to share, please contact me.
