Duet with Kimberley Walsh 'Falling Slowly' Out Jan 2013
« on: December 18, 2012, 09:00:35 PM »

Recorded for KW's upcoming album. Apparently this is going to be a digital single release and there will be a video.

You can preview the track on iTunes, if you use iTunes. If you're one of the uncool kids like me, you'll have to wait until Amazon add samples.

Falling slowly is a song by Glen Hansard from the musical Once. I haven't heard it yet from Ronan, but I know the song from the last album of Josh Groban and it's a beautiful song. Will have to listen Ro's version soon

I've just listened to this song as well. For me it's the same as the song with Kirsty. Ronans voice is great and carries the song, but I don't like the womans voice in it.

For the first few times I had the very same impression as you. I thought that Ronan's voice was stronger and the female vocale was just too weak for Ronan's (I still think the same about All Over Again with Kate Rusby, even though I love that song as it is). After listening to it several times, I've lost this odd feeling, however, and now I think it's a beautiful song and their voices sound nice together.
