Hi Rita. I'm not upset because Brazil lost to Netherlands ( Holanda to us ), but Brazilians in general are of course. The people in here love football, it's realy a passion, so you can imagine ...
About Ronan I have to say he has lots of fans in South America. Boyzone came to Brazil in the past ( but I didn't know about them at the time ). I saw them at first in Pavarotti's show. I'm sure that people around the world saw Ronan's talent and began to follow his career.
In fact Ronan went to Paraguay as United Nations ambassador in 2006. I considered to go but my work didn't allow me. Someday I'll see him, but I think it'll not be in South America, perhaps in North America, who knows.

oh WoW!! its good to hear that Ronan has lots of fans from S America. 
I know the video for 'Mystical Experience' was filmed in S America. (Can't remember now which country - but was that the time they went to Brazil?)

Those other guys' fans are just much more willing to actually do something. I wish more Ronan fans were as committed to getting him noticed out there.

I've been voting regularly as well but I guess the thing is that the others simply have more fans at the moment... at least more die-hard fans who get themselves to vote for such an unimportant thing! ^^

The thing is...the people who vote in the unimportant polls are also likely to vote in the really important ones (airplay etc). Sometimes I think all that the majority of Ronan's fans can do is chat on Facebook. Do something to push airplay and record sales, no thanks.
