Ronan and Robbie are Magic
Magic 105.4 has secured a host of popular singers and celebs during the run up to Christmas to host guest programmes.

Ronan Keating started off with a special two hour programme yesterday afternoon, whilst Robbie Williams takes over on December 13th.

Rod Stewart, Alesha Dixon, Boris Johnson and Jackie Collins are all lined-up to guest host on the station too.

Pete Simmons, Programming Director at Magic 105.4 said: “The calibre of celebrity presenters wanting to enter our studios in the upcoming weeks is a clear reflection of Magic 105.4’s ever growing popularity and importance in the London market. The programme can be listened again for 7 days after broadcasting. Unfortunately the radio station's media player can only be used for UK residents. What a shame :(

By the way, i have recorded the show with my phone, there are some problems like my cat screaming at parts or the internet connection stops at times and so parts of the show are missing but these problems happened only during the songs and not while ronan was speaking. The only part missing from ronan speaking is the last seconds of the show. If anyones wants the recording they can tell me and i'll be happy to pm you the rapidshare link where i'll upload the file :D

God those pics are brilliant. Thank you.
There was a dream that we both used to share
And we swore we would never wake
Now the dream's a nightmare,
and the truth to be fair
Is that dreaming was the first mistake.

Rick Astley to host Magic 105.4 Sunday show

Popstar will take over from Ronan Keating for an initial eight weeks starting from 11 July

Monday 5 July

Rick Astley will host a new summer slot on London radio station, Magic 105.4.

The 1980s pop icon will host Rick Astley's Summer Soundtrack every Sunday from 2pm until 4pm, with the first show set for next weekend, 11 July. The initial contract will run for eight weeks, with a view to a possible extension.

Astley takes over from fellow popstar Ronan Keating, who has taken a temporary hiatus from presenting. The summer show – set to feature interviews as well as music – will follow Kim Wilde's four-hour Secret Songs show.

"I am delighted to be joining Magic 105.4 over the summer. This will be my first time in the hot seat as a radio DJ and I'll be playing my top tracks from today, my favourite hits from the 80s and the songs that have influenced my music when I was growing up," he said.
